Join OwnerListens in Supporting Small Businesses This Saturday, November 30

OwnerListens is an Official Partner of Small Business Saturday

Sandwiched in between Black Friday and Cyber Monday sits Small Business Saturday. This year (the fourth for SBS), some majors retailers are opening their doors on Thanksgiving, which only emphasizes the need for a “shopping holiday” that focuses on real people in the community. You won’t find local shop owners asking their employees to skip Thanksgiving with their families.
What’s the big deal?
52%* of what you spend at locally-owned businesses stays within the community. In supporting that small business, you are also supporting the entire community. Top that off with the more personal customer service you get at local businesses, and the opportunity to find unique gifts that the major outlets provide, and you’ve got a great opportunity for holiday gift buying.

Where should I shop?
Check out this handy website by AMEX: http://shopsmallnow.americanexpress.com/Planning on heading out on Saturday? Share the love with family and friends on social media:
I will #ShopSmall for [favorite thing] at [favorite local business] in my neighborhood on Nov 30!

Have an American Express® card? Even better…
Register your eligible American Express® Card and get a $10 statement credit when you make a purchase of $10 or more at a qualifying small business location on Nov 30. Registration is limited: https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/US/en/SBS2013/

With only 4 weeks of holiday shopping ahead (Thanksgiving is late this year), make sure to kick off your shopping by visiting a local merchant this Saturday. And while you’re out and about, leave all of those local businesses feedback on OwnerListens. After all, Feedback is a Gift. 😉
Business owners can join OwnerListens by visiting www.ownerlistens.com. Consumers can download the app in the App Store or Google Play, or by texting “feedback” to 33733.
Happy Thanksgiving!
